Indoor soccer tournament

 Kevin Tennal Invitational – Hosted by Westy Soccer

We would like to invite your team to register for the 2nd annual Kevin Tennal Invitational, a one day indoor tournament between Christmas and the New Year.  Kevin was a huge part of our soccer community for many years; as a husband, father, coach, and a business owner who generously supported our Westminster Foundation.  Sadly, Kevin passed away in the summer of 2023 after a brave battle with cancer, and we all miss him dearly.  To honor Kevin and continue his tradition with our Foundation, Westy Soccer will host this indoor event and donate back to the Foundation, just as Kevin so graciously done year in and year out.

Please see the information below and further details on how to register your team.  Space will be very limited due to the one-day format, so please complete your registration ASAP.

  • Thursday December 26:  2015 and 2016 Boys (8 teams total)
  • Friday December 27:  2015 and 2016 Girls (8 teams total)
  • Saturday December 28: 2013 and 2014 Boys (8 teams total)
  • Sunday December 29:  2013 and 2014 Girls (8 teams total)
  • Monday December 30:  2011/2012 Boys (4 teams) and 2011/2012 Girls (4 teams)

Roster must be completed & mailed, with payment, to Westy Soccer (9035 Wadsworth Pkwy, #1300, Westminster 80021), or downloaded & emailed to paulm@westysoccer.org.  Tournament registration deadline is Friday December 13th.  All teams will be notified of their acceptance on or before this date.

Game Times, Format and Cost:

  • Games will start at 8.30am and be finished at approximately 7.00pm.
  • Teams play in brackets of four or six with the top 2 teams advancing to final at end of day.
  • 7 v 7 with a 35 minute running clock and 3 game guarantee, 4 games for teams in finals.
  • Registration cost is $375 and includes medals and trophy for winning teams.
