A big congratulations go out to coach Rich, Brooke, and the entire 2009G Samba team for becoming the youngest Westy Soccer team to win State Cup! The girls put in a convincing performance in the final as they beat Colorado United 3-0. The clean sheet was familiar to the Samba team as they went through five games in the tournament without conceding a goal. As the representative from Colorado, the 2009G Samba will head to Boise, Idaho, for the Northwest Regionals to compete for a place in the US Soccer National Championships. Well done, and good luck!
